 Supervise a team of Quality Controllers to ensure safe, efficient and good delivery of the Quality Control assessments.

• Ensure team of Quality Controllers meet company SHERQ strategy and goals.

 

Operations

• Ensure the execution of inspections of incoming raw material for compliance to specification.
• Ensure that inspection on in-process production work is performed
• Ensure that final inspections are conducted.
• Evaluate recorded and inspection reports
• Investigate non-compliance and complains
• Recommend steps to correct activities and ensure quality standards and regulations compliance.
• Formulate and ensure the implementation of Quality Control procedures.
• Monitor compliance with Quality Control standards and procedures
• Identifying opportunities for Quality control process improvement
• Participate in external regulator audits when needed.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
• Civil and Earthworks experience on a Solar Farm project would be preferable,

• Capable to manage a number of small teams effectively,

• Liaise with Senior Management on a day to day basis and report on project schedules,
• Keep all paperwork in order to assist with the QC requirements of the project,

• Checklist compiling for different work place inspected and findings
• Ensure immediate reporting of deviation from set standards and or regulations

Experience 5 years experience in Quality Control Education / Accreditation National Senior Certificate (Matric) At least a Diploma in Quality Control or a related field Certifications Registration and certification with regulatory Quality Control Regulator
