Automotive OEM is hiring a Service Manager to be based in Sandton in office. 

 

Job Summary:

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the service department within an automotive dealership, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and adherence to OEM standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, a deep understanding of OEM requirements, and the ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional service experiences.

  • Warratny 
  • Aftersales
  • Technical Training 
  • Parts 

Additional: The Service Manager will be point of contact between warranty, aftersales, technical, parts and parts sales departments. The Service Manager will be responsibile to report any part defects to the OEM in China for re-engineering, thus the Service Manager will require an iin depth knowladge and experience with OEM policies and standards to carry out additional duties as and when required. 

Requiremetns:

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an automotive service management role, preferably within an OEM dealership.
  • In depth Warranty experience and analysis 
  • In depth aftersales and parts experience
  • Technical experience will be an added advantage
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
    • In-depth knowledge of OEM service standards and requirements.
    • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
    • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and service software.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
