Driver/Facililties/Handyman

A Multinational leading ISP with large scale national network is looking for a Driver/Facilities Coordinator/Handyman 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Driving: Deliveries and Collections 
• General Maintenance: Performing basic repairs and upkeep tasks, such as fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, patching holes in walls, and painting 
• Cleaning: making sure the external part of the property is always neat and tidy (cleaning gutters, sweeping, cleaning bins, trimming trees, etc) 
• Carpentry: Handling basic carpentry tasks like repairing or installing cabinets, shelves, and door frames 
• Plumbing: Addressing minor plumbing issues, such as unclogging drains, fixing toilets, and repairing leaks 
• Electrical Work: Performing simple electrical repairs like replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures 
• Safety Checks: Conducting regular inspections to identify and report potential hazards or maintenance needs. Replenishing First Aid Kits. Carry out inspections and report back on all fire & access equipment; fire-extinguishers, hose reels, fire-hydrants, fire-detectors & access control equipment 
• Perform office movement related tasks, including but not limited to, installation of furniture/desks, repair doors, locks, handles, windows; replace ceiling and carpet tiles 

REQUIREMENTS 

• Valid driver’s license (often required for travel between job sites) 
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic maintenance 
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, finding effective solutions 
• Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting, carrying, and climbing 
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately 
• H&S Skills and Experience (beneficial) 
• Availability for after-hours work or weekend work when required
