Retail Manager

A plumbing and bathroom retail company with more than a century’s worth of experience in the plumbing and bathroom supplies business is seeking for a Retail Manager for their Hermanus branch.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

• Strong retail manager / manageress who should ideally have industry knowledge  
• Clear appreciation for interior finishings  
• Consult and call on Architects  
• Build a small support team to operate the shop in their absence  
• Identify potential gaps/opportunities in the market and run with things 
• Network in the community  
• Ensure systems and procedures are administered and adhered to 
• Manage general well-being of the shop 
• Manage team on a day-to-day operational basis 

Skills and Attributes: 

• Prior experience in retail and the bathroom and plumbing supplies business 
• Pleasant disposition with a will to win attitude  
• Practical aptitude  
• Professional approach 
• Go-getter 
• Great people skills 
• Excellent customer service and customer oriented 
• Valid driver’s licence and own car 
• Must live in the Hermanus area
