Join Our Team as an Oracle APEX Developer! (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a talented Oracle APEX Developer to join our innovative software development team at our Head Office in Pietermaritzburg. This 6-month contract has the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications (versions 4.2 and beyond).
  • Lead the migration of applications from APEX 4.2 to the latest version.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Optimize application performance while ensuring security and reliability.
  • Create and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance throughout the contract.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, including version 4.2.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative spirit.
  • Personal Attributes: A natural team player, creative problem solver, and adaptable thinker.

Working Conditions: This role requires on-site presence at our Head Office in Pietermaritzburg—remote work or hybrid arrangements are not available for this position.
