The client is an innovative app that connects gardeners with customers, offering a seamless platform for booking and managing gardening services. We are rapidly expanding and are looking for a Business Development Manager to help sell franchises to business owners. This role will involve a mix of managing inbound leads and proactive outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Franchise Sales: Drive franchise sales by selling the Cut My Garden franchise opportunity to potential business owners.
  • Lead Management: Manage and convert inbound leads into franchise partners by engaging, nurturing, and closing opportunities.
  • Proactive Outreach: Identify and target potential franchisees through proactive outreach, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified franchise prospects.
  • Presentations & Pitches: Conduct presentations, webinars, and meetings to showcase the benefits of the franchise model and app platform.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to position Cut My Garden as a market leader.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and support teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for franchisees.
  • Reporting: Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Franchise Sales or a similar business development role, preferably within the service industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills with the ability to pitch and sell to business owners.
  • Proven Sales Track Record in closing deals and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Proactive Mindset to identify new opportunities and approach potential franchisees.
  • Ability to Manage Leads effectively, balancing both inbound inquiries and proactive outreach.
  • Knowledge of Gardening or Home Services is a plus but not essential.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools to manage the sales process and pipeline.
  • Self-motivated and Goal-Oriented: Capable of working independently and driven to achieve sales targets.
