Senior Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all financial matters
  
• Understanding clients’ financial goals and objectives and providing tailored financial solutions and advice
  
• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze financial information, including income, expenses, and investments
  
• ​Day-to-day accounting tasks for a portfolio of clients
  
• Managing foreign accounts/clients
• Compile Monthly/Weekly financial reports (management accounts) to your portfolio of clients
  
• Ensure your clients are compliant with SARS and CIPC
  
• Manage a team of trainee accountant/s

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• BCom Degree in Accounting/Financial Management
  
• Completed SAIPA articles
• Must be registered with the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA)
• Must be registered with a recognized board being SAIPA
  
• Minimum two years post-article experience within a practice
  
• Must know Xero Software
