JOB DESCRIPTION SPORTS FLOOR MANAGER

Job Title:                                 Sports Floor Manager

Reports to:                             General Manager

Number of subordinates:      Sports Traders, Admin and Call Centre teams

PURPOSE

Essential Functions (in no particular order)

• Direct management of the Sports Traders, Admin and Call centre teams (and their managers)
• Ensuring teams are aligned in order to deliver a first-class betting offering
• Continually evaluate and improve upon team and individual performance, with a focus on performance management
• Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement throughout

Detailed Functions

• Analyse and report on department KPIs on a regular basis, with focus being placed on constant improvement
• Responsible for delivering an industry leading Sportsbook offering
• Ensuring departments are setup for success through hiring, and constant upskilling
• Ensuring operational efficiency through effective engagement with all other departments in the business
• Help develop new betting products and enhance existing offerings
• Liaise with other departments such as accounts, customer service and risk or compliance to ensure that the business objectives are met
• Ensuring all teams and individuals are aligned and setup in a way to ensure business goals are achieved

Requirements: Experience and education

• Strong technical knowledge across all betting product verticals
• Experience managing a team(s) in a betting environment
• Ability to analyse the Trading operation and implement strategy in order to improve the offering
• Strong communication skills
• Matric – essential
• Post matric qualification advantageous
