SPECIFICATION
Our esteemed Private Wealth Fund is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Medical Aid Administrator to join their dynamic team. This hybrid role requires an individual with strong administrative skills, the ability to manage medical aid administration and claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support:
- Process and manage client medical aid applications and renewals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with medical aid schemes on behalf of clients to resolve queries.
- Claims Management:
- Assist clients in submitting and tracking medical aid claims.
- Liaise with medical aid providers to ensure claims are processed promptly and correctly.
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their claims.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on client accounts and medical aid performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they understand their medical aid plans and options.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Matric qualification
- At least 3-5 years of experience in medical aid administration or a similar role.
- Experience working in the financial services or private wealth sector is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of medical aid schemes, policies, and claims processes in South Africa.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a client-centric approach.
