ADVERT: Safe&Sound Junior Industrial Engineer
DEPARTMENT: Safe&Sound
REPORTS TO: Projects Manager
Purpose of the position
Safe&Sound is a division of Optix focusing on Driver Empowerment and growth. As a junior industrial engineer, you will form an integral part of the Safe&Sound implementation team. You will be required to work with clients to ensure effective implementation of the Safe&Sound product while also providing support to our clients. You will also be focused on data analytics, analysing operational solutions for projects such as process and implementation analysis or information management
Areas of Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of administrative tasks for setup of new clients such as ensuring master data is correct, creating, printing and couriering of cards to drivers in order to access the Safe&Sound
- Assisting with creating and maintaining training allocation to the correct users and groups within the Safe&Sound Empower Me application
- Assist the planning, execution, and closing of software implementation
- Co-ordinate in conjunction with the Project Manager with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project
- Co-ordinate with customers to clarify requirements and resolve
- Attend Customer scheduled meetings when required, which may from time to time include extensive and/or overnight
- Support the Projects Manager in the technical and logistics set up of Safe and Sound Projects in conjunction with the Optix Training Manager, Technical, Logistics and Support
- Support on any items relating to Safe&Sound Projects and operations.
