Are you a passionate and skilled Head Chef looking for an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and strive for excellence. We are searching for a talented and hands on Head Chef to join our Restaurant and Catering team at our prestigious facility.
The Head Chef actively operates on the floor, and minimal administrative duties are required as our dedicated Kitchen Manager handles administrative tasks.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of chefs, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Supervise and prepare daily meals for our healthcare residents, including rotating 3-course menus.
- Oversee the café’s menu, ensuring freshly prepared, high-quality baked goods and meals.
- Maintain strict food safety standards, including monitoring and recording food temperatures.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to kitchen staff.
- Ensure all dishes meet high presentation and taste standards, following set recipes.
- Collaborate with the team to manage stock levels and reduce wastage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Chef’s diploma/qualification from a registered tertiary education provider.
Requirements and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Head Chef / Senior Sous Chef capacity
- Knowledge of food quality management and standardisation.
- Maintaining an excellent physical condition and stamina.
- Proficient in various cooking and baking techniques.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements in a kitchen.
