Job Purpose:
To develop and execute sourcing & supplier relationship management strategies for Engen category and buy relevant category products to ensure alignment with the fresh procurement strategy of product, pricing, procurement model and business ownership.

What you’ll have done before:
Baseline:
- At least 6 years’ experience within mainstream retail with 3 of these linked to supermarket retailers or the hospitality industry.
- NQF level 7 (Degree/Advanced Diploma with specialization Retail, Business Management or equivalent))
- Understanding of food services/QSR/Hospitality industry and products prevalent in the South African retail landscape.
- Deep knowledge of retail principles with in-depth understanding of Retail operations.

What you’ll be doing
- Ensure implementation of non-fuel strategic objectives
- Develop & review Coffee operational standards to continuously improve efficiencies.
- Engage Internal customers and stakeholders on category delivery needs to ensure full understanding of deliverables.
- Present feedback and findings internal stakeholders in order to drive regional standards.
- Ensure Promotional implementation through evaluation to support trade planning objectives.
- Manage and maintain relationships amongst Retail Sales & Operations & Convenience Operations teams to deliver turnover & income targets.
- Develop positive relationships with all site managers & Dealers within the Engen network.
- Understanding and analyzing competitor analysis to ensure Engen remains relevant in the market.
