Overview:

Kryton Web is looking for a systematic and proactive candidate with good administrative skills for the position of Admin Assistant. The duties of the Admin Assistant include account reconciliations, customer account query resolution, customer account payment follow-ups and replying to customer queries/questions in general.
The Admin Assistant is expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with clients and colleagues from various departments and executive levels. They will be required to diagnose, comprehend, and resolve their duties independently. The candidate should ideally be bilingual (English and Afrikaans).


Job Description:

 

  • The candidate will be working in an IT / ISP environment resolving incoming customer account queries; and/or customer questions and/or queries in general.
  • The position is office bound and based in Epping, Cape Town.
  • The candidate also should ideally have a reliable internet connection at home with a Desktop/Laptop

 

Roles & Responsibilities:
Replying to customer account queries; including:

  • General customer account queries
  • Payment Arrangements for late payments


Maintenance of customer accounts; including:

  • Processing of monthly invoices/billings
  • Updating of customer information on our Systems
  • Following up on overdue account balances
  • Collating outstanding customer accounts for cancellation and debt collection submission
  • Submitting overdue accounts for debit collection
  • Following up on the debt collection submissions

Replying to and resolving customer emails/tickets; including:

  • •Speed changes and/or cancellation requests and the subsequent processing of the relevant tasks associated with that request
  • Requests for invoices/and or statements

Reconciliation of accounts including:

  • Reconciling debtor payments on our Systems
  • Uploading creditor invoices to our Systems
  • Reconciling creditor invoices/statements against our Systems

Replying to general customer text chat questions/queries regarding our services

The candidate must be/have:

  • Customer focussed
  • A meticulous and methodical approach to work
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Self-driven and able to work without supervision
  • The ability to handle stress and manage customers in a calm manner
  • Be able to think inside the lines and outside of the box

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Not more than 1-hour remote support over the weekends per month, should the need arise

Qualifications:

  • Basic Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping or similar is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Basic to mid-level Excel usage experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an Admin-based position is advantageous
  • An understanding of Internet and Internet Service Provider terminology is advantageous
