Job Title:
Accounts and Risk Floor Manager
Reports To:
General Manager
Purpose:
To monitor, report on and manage all departments and their issues that make up the Accounts, FICA, Risk and Payments Floor.
Essential Functions:
Self – Management:
- Provide leadership to team-mates through coaching and mentorship;
- Maintain high professional standards within the team by maintaining best practices and habits;
- Maintaining/meeting time frames set out;
- Implement and carry out effective internal QA processes for all pieces of work;
- Management of all projects pertaining to the floor;
- Ensuring the above is conducted in order to achieve the strategic goals of the business in relation to the floor.
Floor Management:
- Oversight and reporting on the following departments, through their HODs:
- Payments;
- Audits;
- Risk;
- FICA;
- Ensuring all SLAs are maintained with a high focus on quality at all times;
- Creating reports on the above for the sake of problem identification with corresponding resolutions;
- Managing complaints / queries and personally getting involved for major issues;
- Conducting analysis upon each department with a continuous improvement
Preferred Skills:
- 5 – 7 years’ experience within the Online Gambling Industry;
- Competency across all facets of a bookmaking risk floor;
- Management experience;
- Academic experience involving management;
- Leadership skills;
- High level of knowledge on local sports / horse
Requirements: Experience, Education and Other:
- Grade 12 (matric certificate required);
- Tertiary education (advantageous);
- Risk Management Qualification (preferred);
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role is preferred;
- Previous experience in a betting company (an advantage).
