Key Responsibilities:

• Claims Management: Register claims, appoint assessors, and manage claims in accordance with SLA.
• Decision Making: Assess merit and make decisions on indemnification.
• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements to ensure fair outcomes.
• Salvage Process: Oversee motor and non-motor salvage processes.
• Fraud Detection: Identify and manage fraudulent indicators.
• System Updates: Keep the operational system updated with accurate information.
• Communication: Provide thorough and timely feedback to all relevant parties.
• Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve client complaints effectively.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Matric.
• NQF Level 4 – Full qualification (short-term insurance) as set by regulation.
• Regulatory Examination Level 5 successfully completed.
• DOFA confirmation from FSB.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in claims handling (both commercial and personal lines).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Client service driven with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good time management skills and the ability to handle stress.
• IT literate and comfortable with technology.
