One of South AfricaÃĢs largest independent private higher education institutions with 12 campuses across the country and many international studentsàare looking to recruit a Customer Relationship Marketer to manage, maintain and grow key accounts (schools) and to generate leads. The role will report to a Sales Manager and is based in Pretoria.

Minimum Requirements Minimum qualification: Relevant undergraduate degree such as commerce, education, social sciences or marketing. Experience: Higher education experience will be advantageous.

Functional and technical competencies:

  • Product knowledge (to be acquired after appointment).
  • Well-developed MS office skills (Excel essential).
  • Proven experience to manage and track daily, monthly and annual targets.
  • Great presentation skills.

Other requirements:

  • Mostly on the road to visit schools – must be able to travel locally.
  • Valid driverÃĢs license and own transport is essential.
  • Able to work some weekends and some evenings.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

As the Customer Relationship Marketer, you will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Input into segmentation strategy – continually review the strategy and identify new segments and markets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with current top feeder schools (existing accounts).
  • Build relationships with other schools based on segmentation strategy (new accounts).
  • Initiate and facilitate/ (lead generation activities (presentations, events, etc.).
  • Facilitate early school interventions (with a long-term business development focus).
