We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Manager with at least 10 years of experience managing the finances for multiple companies or brands within a group. This role requires a strategic thinker who can handle complex financial operations and provide key insights to drive the financial success of the group.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations for multiple entities within the group, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Consolidate financial reports and create clear financial summaries for the group, providing strategic recommendations based on financial performance.
  • Develop and monitor financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the group’s overall objectives.
  • Lead and manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data for all entities.
  • Monitor cash flow, funding, and capital requirements for the group and individual entities.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls across all financial processes to safeguard the assets of the group.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial analysis, insights, and decision support to drive business performance.
  • Mentor and manage a team of financial staff, ensuring continuous improvement and development of the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA(SA) or CIMA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably managing the finances of multiple companies or brands within a group structure.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate finance principles.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management for multiple entities.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
