Job Details

A leading office automation business is looking for a Head of Digital Sales to manage and develop the company’s services as a strategic imperative for both the Direct and Indirect Sales channels and to drive the company’s Digital Service offerings, Managed Services and Workplace Services.  This position is pivotal to the growth of the company’s Digital Services. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:  

  • To lead, develop and motivate specialist digital sales and support teams to the calibre necessary to meet the current and long-term needs of the Digital Services business functions in order to achieve the targets set within the agreed departmental budget and deliver maximum results both individually and as a team 
  • Effectively manage the Digital Services P&L in line with Company business plans & objectives and manage the output of all required data and reporting to senior management as requested. Key metrics are P&L management of ITS lines of business 
  • Key objective is to establish and develop digital service lines in alignment with company strategy 
  • Manage the on-going Board to Board level relationships with key Business Partner clients to maximise customer retention and growth opportunities 
  • Manage the development of strategic and new business growth opportunities, in order to achieve the targets, set within the Channel budget 
  • Drive sales & marketing initiatives that develop incremental business opportunities and financial results through innovative thinking and program leadership and empowering the ITS team 
  • Develop superior vendor and partner relationships adding value to the sales proposition and unit profitability/growth within the governance of the procurement framework and negotiate the best possible position 
  • Own the interface with senior management and accept accountability for all aspects of the business unit performance and conduct 
  • Actively liaise and build/manage campaigns with the Marketing department both locally and globally 
  • Create and sustain relationships with international peers and management to actively follow product portfolio and acquisition strategy 
  • Responsible for accessing the local applicability of international solutions 

REQUIREMENTS  

  • Tertiary qualification as a minimum (Business degree) 
  • Experience in strategic business acquisitions will be an advantage 
  • Successful track record of the management of Digital Services strategy, transformation, and execution 
  • Successful track record of managing a Sales teams at a national level 
  • Ability to translate company mid-term plans into tangible/measurable results 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent people management skills, to lead, motivate, develop and coach 
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving targets 
  • High level of business acumen
