As a Senior Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing both remote and on-site technical support to our clients. Your role will involve collaborating with the Technical Support Center (TSC) team to define the scope and deliverables of discovery and analysis phases for each project. You will also ensure excellent tracking of customer interactions in systems for proper documentation and continuously enhance your technical and non-technical capabilities through various learning channels.
Technical Support:
Provide remote and on-site technical support for clients, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
Utilize advanced technical expertise to resolve standard to complex level issues.
Ensure customer IT support for clinical software on a remote basis.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with the TSC team to define the scope and deliverables of discovery and analysis phases for each project.
Coordinate multiple projects within a large-scale program, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Maintenance and Inspections:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled remote preventative maintenance, inspections, and site surveys.
Maintain excellent tracking of customer interactions in systems for proper documentation.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with both local and virtual support teams to ensure seamless support and communication.
Guarantee international support within normal office hours.
Professional Development:
Continuously enhance technical and non-technical capabilities through various learning channels.
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical support roles.
Proven experience with Windows desktop and server support.
Proficient in Microsoft Cloud technologies.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a large-scale program.
Strong team collaboration skills, both locally and virtually.
Technical Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and server environments.
Experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies, including Azure and Office 365.
Additional Information:
This role requires flexibility to provide support within normal office hours across various international time zones.
Occasional on-site support may be required, depending on project needs.
