Job Details
Duties:
- Manage and service umbrella fund participating employers and stand-alone funds.
- Regular client interaction via digital platforms and in-person meetings. Interaction will be with employer exectives and employees / fund members.
- Resolve all client queries in line with company standards.
- Arrange and attend client meetings.
- Liaise with all internal and external service providers to ensure client is serviced in line with expectations.
- Facilitate all secretarial services for client meetings, inlcuding, but not limted to:
- Prepare agenda packs
- Draft minutes
- Attend to action items
- Manage client year-plan to ensure all activities are agreed with the client and delivered as agreed. Advise clients on matters relating to:
- Retirement fund participation
- Benefit structuring
- Ancillary benefits
- Income tax aspects of retirement fund and ancillary benefits
- Investments
- Develop and manage client communicaton plan
- Member presentations
- Digital platforms
- Manage all governance requirements relating to client retirement funding and ancillary benefits.
- Facilitate rule and rule amendment drafting
- Facilittae engagement with regulator and other relevant authorities
- Section 14 transfers
- S37C assistance where required
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience as an employee benefits consultant (excluding time spent under supervision)
- Relevant regulatory certification
- Appropriate bachelors degree
- CFP accreditation
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Must have working knowledge of all relevant legislation
- Must be able to work independently as well in a team environment
- Intermediate to advance level proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
