Job Details

Duties:

  1. Manage and service umbrella fund participating employers and stand-alone funds.
  2. Regular client interaction via digital platforms and in-person meetings. Interaction will be with employer exectives and employees / fund members.
  3. Resolve all client queries in line with company standards.
  4. Arrange and attend client meetings.
  5. Liaise with all internal and external service providers to ensure client is serviced in line with expectations.
  6. Facilitate all secretarial services for client meetings, inlcuding, but not limted to:
    1. Prepare agenda packs
    2. Draft minutes
    3. Attend to action items
  7. Manage client year-plan to ensure all activities are agreed with the client and delivered as agreed. Advise clients on matters relating to:
    1. Retirement fund participation
    2. Benefit structuring
    3. Ancillary benefits
    4. Income tax aspects of retirement fund and ancillary benefits
    5. Investments
  8. Develop and manage client communicaton plan
    1. Member presentations
    2. Digital platforms
  9. Manage all governance requirements relating to client retirement funding and ancillary benefits.
    1. Facilitate rule and rule amendment drafting
    2. Facilittae engagement with regulator and other relevant authorities
    3. Section 14 transfers
    4. S37C assistance where required

Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years experience as an employee benefits consultant (excluding time spent under supervision)
  2. Relevant regulatory certification
  3. Appropriate bachelors degree
  4. CFP accreditation
  5. Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  6. Must have working knowledge of all relevant legislation
  7. Must be able to work independently as well in a team environment
  8. Intermediate to advance level proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
