Salesforce Engineer

Overall Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has expertise in Apex, Lightning, and Flow, with experience in designing scalable and secure solutions tailored to fintech and banking use cases. This role requires a problem-solving mindset, a passion for building efficient Salesforce applications, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Experience and Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, focusing on Apex, Lightning, and Flow.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and security principles.

• Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or third-party platforms).

• Familiarity with financial services or fintech-related solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. 

• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I & II, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or equivalent).

• Experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce deployments.

• Knowledge of banking security standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

Salesforce Development & Optimization

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flow.

• Implement and optimize automation, workflows, and integrations to improve business processes.

• Ensure adherence to best practices, security, and compliance standards in the financial industry.

• Contribute to both project-based and ad-hoc development work.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues efficiently.

• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce innovations, industry trends, and best practices.

Integration & Deployment

• Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with banking APIs, third-party applications, and internal systems.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment and testing.
