Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Akiba Digital plays a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for outbound prospecting and lead generation activities. Your goal will be to create qualified opportunities for the sales team, contributing to the overall success of the company’s sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
  • Qualifying Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their needs and qualify them as potential clients for Akiba Digital’s services.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and build a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handover process.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system.
  • Follow-Up: Execute follow-up activities to nurture leads and keep them engaged throughout the sales process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective outreach strategies and improve lead conversion rates.
  • Market Feedback: Provide insights and feedback to the marketing and product teams based on interactions with prospects and market trends.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the number of calls made, emails sent, and qualified leads generated.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a similar role in the tech or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to conduct market research and gather relevant information.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
