The primary responsibility in this role involves crafting custom reports, ensuring the upkeep of existing ones, and providing support to our clients. Harness your advanced SQL skills, collaborate with widely used reporting tools, and play a key role in the success of leading firms across industries such as Advertising, Architecture, Engineering, Consulting, Audit & Accounting, and Legal.

Role and Responsibilities

As the SQL Report Writer, you will be responsible for the following duties (but not limited to).

Custom Report Development:

·       Develop custom reports meeting stakeholder requirements.

·       Utilize advanced SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

·       Leverage reporting tools to create visually compelling and insightful reports.

·       Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and adhering to coding standards.

Data Analysis:

·       Maintain and optimize existing reports for accurate and efficient performance.

·       Apply advanced SQL Server knowledge for effective data manipulation.

·       Understand client requirements and gain in-depth knowledge of data for accurate analysis and retrieval.

·       Present report data meaningfully and accessibly to clients based on their specific needs.

Customer Support:

·       Provide support for internal and external customers regarding report-related inquiries and issues.

·       Collaborate with end-users to understand and address their reporting needs effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineer or equivalent.

·       Extensive experience and proven track record in developing reports for ERP packages.

·       Advanced proficiency in SQL would be preferrable.  

·       Experience with reporting tools will be advantageous.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
