A payment solutions provider is looking for a Junior Sales Representatives based in Upington, Northern Cape.
The purpose of the Junior Sales Representative role is to support the sales team by generating leads, developing client relationships, and driving sales. This entry-level position is designed to help individuals gain experience in sales techniques and customer engagement, serving as a stepping stone to more advanced sales roles. The successful candidates will play a key role in expanding the companyâs customer base and achieving sales targets.ÃàÃàÃÃÂ
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:ÃÃÂ
- Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referralsÃÃÂ
- Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to understand their cash management needs and present tailored solutionsÃÃÂ
- Sales Support: Assisting Business Development Consultants with telesales and appointment managementÃÃÂ
- Conduct outbound tele-sales to proactively reach out to potential retail business clientsÃÃÂ ÃÃÂ
- Manage and analyse sales pipelines to accelerate the sales cycleÃÃÂ
- Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and addressing any concerns or objections raised by prospectsÃÃÂ ÃÃÂ
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts using CRM software and other sales toolsÃÃÂ
- Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) where the business is currently in the market for a cash management solutionÃÃÂ
- Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) that is currently in contract with a competitor and should form part of your future dated pipelineÃÃÂ ÃÃÂ
- Strive to understand your prospects business requirements to effectively provide the correct solution and negotiate past objections across the companyâs full product offeringÃàÃÃÂ
- Sell the companyâs end-to-end solution and the benefits thereofÃÃÂ
- Bring in new business in line with the weekly/ monthly/ quarterly and annual targets agreedÃÃÂ
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategic plans aligned with company objectivesÃÃÂ
- Manage lead databases and CRM systems to track lead interactions and progress throughout the sales pipelineÃÃÂ
- Qualify leads based on predetermined criteriaÃÃÂ
REQUIREMENTS ÃÃÂ
- Matric essentialÃÃÂ
- Computer literacyÃÃÂ
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales toolsÃÃÂ
- 2 or more years’ experience in customer relationship, account management, and/or business administrationÃÃÂ
- Proven experience in sales/cold calling, preferably in the financial services or cash management industryÃÃÂ
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Valid Drivers license
- Own reliable vehicleÃÃÂ
