A payment solutions provider is looking for a Junior Sales Representatives based in Upington, Northern Cape.

The purpose of the Junior Sales Representative role is to support the sales team by generating leads, developing client relationships, and driving sales. This entry-level position is designed to help individuals gain experience in sales techniques and customer engagement, serving as a stepping stone to more advanced sales roles. The successful candidates will play a key role in expanding the companyâs customer base and achieving sales targets.ààà

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:à

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referralsà
  • Client Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to understand their cash management needs and present tailored solutionsà
  • Sales Support: Assisting Business Development Consultants with telesales and appointment managementà
  • Conduct outbound tele-sales to proactively reach out to potential retail business clientsàà
  • Manage and analyse sales pipelines to accelerate the sales cycleà
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and addressing any concerns or objections raised by prospectsàà
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts using CRM software and other sales toolsà
  • Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) where the business is currently in the market for a cash management solutionà
  • Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) that is currently in contract with a competitor and should form part of your future dated pipelineàà
  • Strive to understand your prospects business requirements to effectively provide the correct solution and negotiate past objections across the companyâs full product offeringàà
  • Sell the companyâs end-to-end solution and the benefits thereofà
  • Bring in new business in line with the weekly/ monthly/ quarterly and annual targets agreedà
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop strategic plans aligned with company objectivesà
  • Manage lead databases and CRM systems to track lead interactions and progress throughout the sales pipelineà
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteriaà

REQUIREMENTS à

  • Matric essentialà
  • Computer literacyà
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales toolsà
  • 2 or more years’ experience in customer relationship, account management, and/or business administrationà
  • Proven experience in sales/cold calling, preferably in the financial services or cash management industryà
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Own reliable vehicleÃÂÂ
