Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our telesales team. The BDR will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and driving sales growth. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, so strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to prospective commercial clients in need of pest control, bird control, and waste management solutions.
  • Research and identify potential business leads using a variety of channels (databases, internet research, social media).
  • Qualify leads to understand their needs and align them with our services.
  • Present and sell a range of services to businesses, explaining the benefits and value propositions.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly targets.
  • Schedule and coordinate follow-up appointments for the field sales team where required.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights during client interactions.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in telesales, cold calling, or a business development role (experience in the environmental services industry is a plus).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and build relationships quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working with CRM systems to track and manage client interactions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Basic knowledge of pest control, bird control, or waste management services is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
