An independent IT firm with a niche in Oracle technology platforms and products is looking for an Oracle Cloud HCM Techno-Functional Consultant with real-time, hands-on functional/product and/or technical experience. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Core Development Activities 
    • With high proficiency, develops applications and services according to functional/business requirements, technical architecture, and technical design documentation 
    • Development and programming that includes form extensions & personalization, custom PL/SQL for application integrations and interfaces, data fixes, workflow customizations, BPM, user interfaces, BIP reports 
    • Develop backend interfaces to integrate Oracle Cloud with legacy systems 
    • Work in three Oracle Cloud HCM modules at a time that includes Oracle Global HR, Absence Mgt., Oracle Learning, Oracle Recruiting, Oracle Time & Labour, etc 
    • Production Support that includes firefighting with hot production issues, troubleshooting application problems working with IT internal teams, IT support/service desk, and Oracle customer Support as necessary to resolve them quickly 
    • Work with the technical architect to create and present technical architecture and strategic solutions
    • Understand function & business requirements and translate into technical design 
    • Work with PMO (Relationship & Project management Office) teams – project managers, relationship managers, business analysts, system analysts, to gather and analyze functional and business requirements; translate into scalable technical design 
    • Writes and follows written unit test plans to ensure highest quality work. Perform unit testing and system integration testing; document test cases; present to QA team updates work to specification and work properly with documented test results 
    • Follow System Development Life Cycle (SDLC); hands on code packing, code source control, code review for peers, demo to QA 
  • Process and Working Practices: 
    • Acts as a mentor/coach to lower-level application developers and system support analysts (Tier II); providing assistance to less experienced team members on production support issues and project tasks 
    • Prepare weekly timesheets and status reports to management in addition to maintaining a work task list ensuring deliverables are met as scheduled and committed 
    • Provide on call rotational support of critical business applications as scheduled and required in a professional and business-like manner 
    • Demonstrate ability aptitude in logical and analytical thinking, as well as display strong problem-solving skills with experience in using diagnostic tools 
    • Learn and continue to gain business process and operations knowledge 
    • Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and results to project team members 
    • Effectively communicates complex business and technical information to various audience levels including senior management, business community and staff members  
    • Meets project deadlines and focuses on a task until it is complete by managing personal workload 
    • Proficiency in working on more than one project at a time 
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced constantly evolving workplace 
    • Other project and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion 

REQUIREMENTS  

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, equivalent experience, or degree in similar field required. Master’s degree desired 
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ year’s relevant experience implementing and supporting in Oracle Cloud/Fusion  
  • 5+year’s hands on experience which includes customization & personalization, custom PL/SQL for application integrations and interfaces, data fixes, workflow/BPM customizations, building concurrent programs, user interfaces 
  • Oracle Cloud/Fusion functional/technical knowledge in at least two Oracle Cloud modules in HCM and ability to create test cases for unit testing 
  • Thorough knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM tables 
  • Experience working in a fast paced, cross-functional and multi-team environment 
  • Working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC); hands on experience with True Cloud and Agile development methodologies 
  • Strong HCM business processes knowledge and concepts 
  • Two Implementation, Upgrade & two Support experience on Oracle Fusion HCM Apps Modules like HR, Payroll, SSHR, Time & Labor modules (OTL) and Advance Benefits, nice to have Fusion HCM Apps implementations with localizations knowledge 

Technical Skills:  

  • Ability to relate the product functionality to business processes, and thus offer implementation advice to customers on how to meet their various business scenarios using Oracle Fusion HCM
  • Technically strong with skills in SQL, PLSQL

  • Good experience on OTBI, BI Alerts and HCM extracts  

Preferred Experience/Skills 

  • Implementation and support experience of Oracle Cloud/Fusion – Global HR, Absence Mgt., Oracle Learning, Oracle Recruiting, Oracle Time & Labour 
  • Experience on page personalization & customizing roles  
  • Experience in development and scripting using Oracle SQL & PL/SQL 
  • Oracle EBS and Cloud certifications 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to effectively interact with business partners and internal team members 
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills while contributing to a highly functioning matrixes cross-departmental project team
