Job Details
Cloud Computing service provider is seeking an OCI Lead to join their team. This si a remote role – can be based anywhere in South Africa.
Requirements and knowledge
- Knowledge of OCI architecture, including OCI compute services, Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, routing, and security lists.
- Proficient in OCI storage solutions such as block storage, object storage, file storage, and archive storage.
- Proficiency in capacity planning, optimizing resource usage, scaling of OCI resources for better performance and cost-efficiency.
- Managing, maintaining and application lifecycle management of Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Managed File transfer, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Analytics Cloud and API Gateway
- Understanding of enterprise integration strategies
- Be well-versed in various integration touchpoints, such as APIs, message queues, and event streams between systems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to integration flows, and related infrastructure
- Manage day to day operations and projects by collaborating with customer and Oracle stakeholders.
- Understanding on ITIL framework.
- Familiarity with ITIL tool such as ServiceNow.
- Monitor, track and manage incidents and change tickets to ensure timely resolution and adherence to SLAs
Qualifications and skills required
- 3-5 years solid OCI experience
- Relevant certifications / or qualified by experience
- Matric and / tertiary qualification
