Job Summary:
The CEO will provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization, ensuring the successful operation and growth of the company. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in the construction industry, capable of driving business development, operational excellence, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s vision, mission, and overall strategy.
- Marketing: Develop brand awareness and sourcing of new client’s
- Sales: Must be able to procure new clients/contracts within the construction sector.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Manage the organization’s financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor senior management and operational teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Champion sustainable construction practices and ensure adherence to environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering (Beneficial), Business Administration, or a related field;
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior management roles within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Financial Acumen: Expertise in financial planning and analysis, with a solid understanding of construction finance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results.
