Gross Salary Range:

R8,000 to R12,000 per month

Job Purpose:

This role supports the daily operations of the Corporate Clothing & Gifting stores, ensuring excellent customer service, stock management, and sales assistance for both in-store and online operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service & Sales:
    • Provide excellent customer service with product selection, recommendations, purchases and inquiries. E.g. orders.
    • Process sales transactions and handle card payments.
    • Process exchanges only no returns. Supervising manager to authorise.
    • Actively promote sales and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
    • Monthly targets set by Management.
    • Encourage team to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Maintain a friendly and professional in-store experience.
  • Stock Management:
    • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and shelving stock.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and restocking shelves as needed.
    • Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the Supervising manager.
    • Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
    • Ensure accurate labelling and pricing of products.

 

  • E-Commerce & Order Fulfilment:
    • Assist with online order processing, packing, and dispatching.
    • Updating dashboard
    • Accurately maintain stock levels online.
    • Monitor online store inquiries and provide prompt responses.
  • Store Operations & Merchandising:
    • Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
    • Support promotions, product displays, and branding consistency.
    • Report stock shortages and customer preferences to the Supervising Manager.
  • General Support:
    • Assist with administrative duties related to store operations.
    • Support Supervising Manager with ad hoc tasks as required.
    • Weekly feedback to Supervising Manager.
    • Maintain company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience:1– 3 years in retail, customer service, or stock handling (experience in corporate clothing or gifting stores is an advantage).
  • Education:Matric certificate (Retail/Business-related qualification is an advantage).
  • Skills:
    • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
    • Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
    • Basic computer literacy (e-commerce experience is an advantage).
    • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
