Gross Salary Range:
R8,000 to R12,000 per month
Job Purpose:
This role supports the daily operations of the Corporate Clothing & Gifting stores, ensuring excellent customer service, stock management, and sales assistance for both in-store and online operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service & Sales:
- Provide excellent customer service with product selection, recommendations, purchases and inquiries. E.g. orders.
- Process sales transactions and handle card payments.
- Process exchanges only no returns. Supervising manager to authorise.
- Actively promote sales and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Monthly targets set by Management.
- Encourage team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Maintain a friendly and professional in-store experience.
- Stock Management:
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and shelving stock.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and restocking shelves as needed.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the Supervising manager.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
- Ensure accurate labelling and pricing of products.
- E-Commerce & Order Fulfilment:
- Assist with online order processing, packing, and dispatching.
- Updating dashboard
- Accurately maintain stock levels online.
- Monitor online store inquiries and provide prompt responses.
- Store Operations & Merchandising:
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
- Support promotions, product displays, and branding consistency.
- Report stock shortages and customer preferences to the Supervising Manager.
- General Support:
- Assist with administrative duties related to store operations.
- Support Supervising Manager with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Weekly feedback to Supervising Manager.
- Maintain company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience:1– 3 years in retail, customer service, or stock handling (experience in corporate clothing or gifting stores is an advantage).
- Education:Matric certificate (Retail/Business-related qualification is an advantage).
- Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
- Basic computer literacy (e-commerce experience is an advantage).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
