Digital Marketing Project Assistant

We’re hiring a Project Assistant for our Digital Marketing Agency!

We’re looking for a Project Assistant to join our team in Milnerton, Cape Town. If you’ve got 3-4 years experience understanding the digital marketing landscape and have been involved in website development projects, we want to hear from you!

You should be skilled in Google Workspace or similar, Asana or similar, and Canva. If you have knowledge of WordPress or Figma, even better!

This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn and grow with us.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with website and brand development projects, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Play a vital role in keeping projects on track, ensuring smooth communication between clients and our team, and helping to maintain efficiency.
• Initiate, manage and maintain onboarding processes and systems.
• Maintain service delivery and quality standards.
• Manage ad hoc tasks relevant to projects.
• Administrative type tasks that require constant updating, i.e. stay on top of things!

Minimum Requirements:

• Based in Cape Town and close proximity to Milnerton.
• Must have knowledge and/or a skillset in either digital marketing or website development processes.
• Must understand the various workflows that run within digital marketing campaigns and/or website development projects.
• Experience working within the digital marketing and/or website development industry.
• 3-4 years relevant experience.
• Must be legally authorised to work in South Africa.

Critical Soft Skills Requirements:

• Quick learner with impeccable attention to detail.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Confidence and good communicator.
• Solutions Driven.

Technical Skills Requirements:

• Project management / coordination.
• Understanding of as many digital marketing disciplines as possible.
• Experience in working on tools such as Google Workspace, Canva, Asana, Mailchimp, or similar software – these are essential.
• Experience in working on WordPress, Figma or similar software – advantageous.
• Experience in working on META Business manager (Google Ads Manager a bonus).
• Knows how to set up a business Gmail account and respective Google Products.

Ideal to have:

• Own car and driving license.
• Available on standby for after hours or weekends to attend to urgent projects or client events.

Salary: R15000 to R18000 per month depending on skills and experience.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. Standby availability for after hours or weekends depending on project deadlines.
