Electrician

An integrated technology group is looking for an Electrician who demonstrates a good level of technical skill and knowledge in factory reticulation, machine tool maintenance and preventative maintenance scheduling 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO: 

• New electrical installation (wiring, testing, and commissioning of equipment) 
• Maintenance of site and factory electrical reticulation 
• Fault finding and repair of electrical breakdowns with emphasis on CNC machine 
• Pre – planned preventative maintenance of electrical equipment and machines 
• Preform trade related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager 
• Audit factory and draw up a task list to complete findings. 

REQUIREMENTS  

• Qualified Electrician 
• A Wireman’s license would be advantageous 
• Previous experience on Machine tool (CNC, milling, lathe and grinding machines etc.) 
• English proficiency 
• Knowledge of electrical theory; concepts and trade practice 
• Skills and knowledge related to working safely in the electrical environment 
• Knowledge and application of relevant legislation; code of practice and standards 
• Knowledge of PLC systems 
• Knowledge of the Labour act, OHSA and or any other regulatory acts which may affect the company
