Job Purpose:
Provide end-user support, provisioning hardware & software, and troubleshooting end-user IT systems.
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities:
Customer
- First-line support for IT incidents. Including monitoring & updating the helpdesk system.
- Work diligently with the team and end-users to keep users’ technology running.
Internal
- Install and upgrade hardware for laptops and desktops, load operating systems, drivers, and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues, e.g., laptops, audio-visual, telephony, printers, etc.
- Maintaining an up-to-date asset register of all IT equipment.
- Maintaining physical network infrastructure.
Note: Day to day activities will be provided by the Snr IT Technician. Due to the nature and variety of the company’s projects, additional responsibilities can be added from time to time.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
Recommendations
- A+, N+, MCSA, MCSE will be advantageous
- Azure Fundamentals Certified and Microsoft365 Fundamentals Certified will be advantageous.
