“Resolve and Change Systems (RACS) is a premier dispute resolution and change management specialist practice based in Cape Town. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our team and drive the operational excellence of our Corporate Services.

 The Manager: Corporate Services will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our corporate services operations, including facilities management, administrative support, and internal reporting & communications. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a strategic mindset to ensure the efficient delivery of services that support our company’s objectives.

 Key outcomes

The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Manager: Corporate Services

  • Manage and coordinate corporate services, including facilities management, office supplies, and administrative support.
  • Develop and implement procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 
  • Manages the development and implementation of cost-effective financial processes incorporating appropriate internal controls.
  • Oversees the monitoring and projection for corporate services budget and recommends adjustments as necessary.
  • Manage and assist with HR activities as required, (i.e recruitment, performance management, basic training and development, etc) as aligned to the People Strategy.
  • Problem-solves HR issues with head of People Strategy and Exco as required.
  •  Chairs/organises corporate service team meetings and sets agendas, facilitates discussion and information flow; promotes and enhances team functioning through support, coaching and conflict resolution.  
  • Collaborate and build relationships cross functionally to support operational needs and improve inter-departmental communication.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to corporate services, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure efficient team delivery against common objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within corporate services or facilities management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of operational management experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure
