Resolve and Change Systems (RACS) is a Cape Town based, premier management consulting practice specialising in dispute resolution and change management.
We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced Marketing Manager. To join our dynamic team of creatives and collaborators in driving our brand forward by developing and implementing effective marketing strategies.
The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing campaigns, ensuring our brand’s voice is strong, authentic, and impactful. Your background in journalism will help you create high-quality content that resonates with our target audience.
Key outcomes
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Marketing Manager:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with company goals.
- Create compelling content across digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Leverage journalistic skills to craft and guide engaging narratives, case studies, and thought leadership pieces.
- Manage media relations and secure press coverage with the assistance of the media consultant.
- Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional activities.
- Analyse marketing performance and optimise campaigns for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
- Provide regular feedback to the Chief of Marketing.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in marketing, with a strong foundation in journalism, content creation, or media.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, accessible content.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media strategy and analytics.
- Experience in media relations and PR.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- A creative thinker who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution.
- Being able to lead a team and manage execution effectively
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing or related role with a proven track record of successful campaigns, with a background in journalism and content management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field (Master’s degree is advantageous)
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (i.e Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, CRM Software).
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience on brand building and management.
