Rental Sales Rep

Opportunity to join an independently owned company based in South Africa. We are an equipment rental and sales company offering a range of scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers and cherry pickers. We have extensive experience in the powered access industry and have worked and advised on a great variety of projects.

Powered access equipment is designed to enable people to work safely, productively and comfortably at height. It can be used in a comprehensive range of applications, both inside and outside buildings and structures. Our hire team are always available to offer friendly advice and guidance either by phone or on site.  Our passion is to provide our customers with the right equipment for the right height at the right price.

Working hours:  07h30 – 16h45

DUTIES:

• Call on construction sites, building companies, construction companies and subcontractors
• Sales of equipment rental for construction such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, telehandlers, trailer mounts, cherry pickers, etc.
• Focus on existing client base – warm leads
• Cold calling for new business
• Re-establish relationships with old clients
• Sales of equipment purchasing too (different side of the business – cross sales)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid drivers licence (will be a car to use during the day)
• Prior sales experience in a similar industry
• Technically minded
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Cold calling experience – old fashioned sales rep who is happy to drive around and call on construction sites
