Senior Fundraiser

Position Overview:

The Senior Fundraiser will ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the Kay Mason Foundation (KMF). This role is earmarked for a positive, outgoing, and dynamic individual who will use their skills and passion to achieve the fundraising targets of the organisation.
The Senior Fundraiser will work within a dynamic and diverse team. The successful candidate will manage junior fundraising personnel and fundraising contractors. The candidate should be a positive and supportive team member and should work closely with other department personnel, especially the marketing department. This individual will always strive towards excellence.

The ideal candidate should have / be:

• Minimum of 6 years proven fundraising experience.
• Fluent in English. isiXhosa and Afrikaans as additional languages would be an advantage.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated, creative, and organised.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed. “Can Do” attitude a must!

NPO experience, management experience and education sector experience would be an advantage.
The position is office based.
This is a full-time position and the candidate will be required to work occasional Saturdays or weekends.
