Responsibilities:
Position Purpose:
The SEO Copywriter works within the Content team to ensure that all Market and Product content across our websites and other marketing channels is consistent, compliant, and meets the SEO objectives of the company. They are expected to deliver high-quality, technically accurate, and SEO-friendly content to support regional channel and product marketing.
Technology Ecosystem:
- Front-End: Understanding of SEO tools like Clearscope or related and Keyword Planner
Primary duties will include:
- Write, edit, and suggest content that entices, engages, and converts organic prospects for all regions and brands, ensuring that the company achieves its organic conversion targets.
- Write clear, persuasive, original product and technical copy for all elements of the digital marketing mix, including landing pages, education pages, pillar content, blogs, video scripts, graphics, and more.
- Proofread copy to check spelling, grammar, and tone of voice.
- Liaise with internal colleagues and external suppliers, e.g. Agencies, designers, and printers as required.
- Work with key stakeholders to help develop an organic content strategy for all product and market communications, ensuring a regular output of content that brings new converting users to the company website.
- Refine product and market content offering by regional relevance.
- Constantly ensure documentation and content are up to date.
- Engage with Product and Platform teams to ensure all upgrades, enhancements, and evolutions are recorded and accurately reflected in all the product content areas.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to align and unify the messaging across the website, ensuring consistent and impactful communication that reflects the Desk’s services and goals.
- Ability to follow the requirements of an SEO Content brief
- Good knowledge of topical authority, understanding the semantical relationship between on-page Copy elements
- Ability to target and address a specific audience within compliance and SEO boundaries
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- At least five years of copywriting experience
- At least two years of experience writing in the financial industry
- Understanding of financial products (CFDs, spread betting, OTC, and listed derivatives) and different asset
- classes (equities, fixed income, commodities, foreign exchange)
- Working knowledge of SEO tools like Clearscope or related and Keyword Planner

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Solid technical content and SEO-related copy creation experience within a digitally led financial vertical marketing organization.
