Tax Consultant

Duties:

• Actively manage a portfolio of 400 – 500 tax clients
• Manage all personal income tax for these clients
• Manage corporate income tax and trusts
• Liaise with SARS
• Client liaison and advice
• Be an integral part of the tax team

Requirements:

• Solid experience in tax working in an accounting firm
• Solid knowledge of personal income tax, corporate income tax and trusts
• Prior experience in submitting many, many tax returns
• Familiar with SARS liaison
• Experience in handling a large portfolio of tax clients in an accounting firm
• Professional communication and the ability to liaise with clients across all levels – happily engage with clients and keep clients happy
• Qualification – Preferable B.Com + H.Dip Tax or similar
• Registered Tax Practitioner
